Salutations, friends! It’s nice to meet you. I write under the name of A. C. Paolini, but you can call me Ash.

 

How did I come to publish my first book, Sheep and Goat Climb the World? Well, at the age of three, my grandmother took me to library story time, and it quickly became my favorite part of the week. That love followed me into adulthood when I worked at a different library twenty years later.

 

My favorite books have always been—and will continue to

be—children’s books. They make more sense of life and living than any other genre. Nothing quite lifts the heart and soul like a book created for the littlest of hands.

 

Now that I’m a parent myself, I’ve discovered a new love in

listening to my children tell the most amazing stories. I’ve always felt compelled to write, but that experience made me want to write books for them—and children everywhere—and that desire led directly to the creation of Sheep and Goat Climb the World.

 

It takes a team to make these things happen, so thank you to

Paolini (you wonderful ladies never cease to amaze), and of

course, my beautiful family (for whom I create everything).
